each precious drop
We’re a small, family-owned operation with a big love for maple syrup! What began as a fun little backyard project—just four trees and a whole lot of sticky kitchen counters—has grown into a full-fledged operation, tapping hundreds of maple trees across Wisconsin.
But we’re not about shortcuts! We do things the good old-fashioned way: tapping trees by hand, carrying buckets, and boiling sap over a wood-fired evaporator. Pure, handcrafted, and made with love—just the way maple syrup should be!

Our Stray Cat Fans seem to say it best…
” Stray Cat 🐈⬛ Sap is my go-to when I want to impress my overnight guests with a sumptuous pancake breakfast topped with handcrafted Wisconsin maple syrup! It’s also great as a hostess gift-unusual but most welcome and enjoyed long after the visit concludes.”
” The taste of this syrup is a testament to its hand-crafted nature. You can quite literally smell the wood fire that was used to boil it down. I love this stuff! Not only is it perfect on pancakes, it is a great addition to a well-stocked bar. Very tasty stirred into Bourbon. Will definitely buy again!”
” One taste, and I was hooked! Stray Cat Sap takes my pancakes to a whole new level, and their maple sugar? Perfect for sweetening up my morning coffee. Pure maple magic in every drop! “

OUR STORY
You don’t know if you’ve found your purpose until you’ve found your purpose. I’ve always known that agriculture appealed to me, narrated to me by my father, embedded into his roots. But life took me into a different direction and career. Yet the draw for me was always there. I didn’t know how or when or if this would ever manifest itself for me until it did. Like any purpose, it became something that I naturally focus on, look forward to, and that stretches me. I am intentionally taking my journey into this craft slowly and iteratively.
Still, I am learning. Thank you for coming on this journey with me.
